ZONTA INTERNATIONAL and our members work at the international, national and local levels to realize our vision of a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential, where women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men, and where no woman lives in fear of violence.
DISTRICT 17 is one of the 32 districts, consisting of 6 countries and 2,830+ members, operating under Zonta International organization delivering common causes.

Welcome to Zonta International’s District 17.
Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls for over a Century. It has over 25,000 members in more than 1,000 clubs in 65 countries and regions worldwide.

Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence. District 17 is part of this big family with more than 2,800 members in 91 clubs, in 6 Areas, located in Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, Malaysia, and Macau SAR. Throughout the years, we are blessed with a group of dedicated, energetic and enthusiastic zonta leaders and members who work together to make a better world for women and girls.

In the 2024-2026 biennium, our District Board, Committee Chairs, and members work together to make credible and visible voice, focusing on the following actions: violence against women, climate justice, women in decision-making roles and education equality. Stay tuned to the diversified advocacy and service projects in our communities. Club success is our priority also. In Zonta spirit, we retain, recruit and rejuvenate members and create new zonta clubs. To nurture future leaders, District 17 clubs sponsor more than 120 student clubs: 50+ clubs in universities and colleges; and 80+ clubs in secondary schools. Joining hands, we will make a better world for women and girls.
